Research interests:
My research interests include the acquisition, maintenance, and utilization of episodic and semantic memory. Current areas of inquiry include (1) the inferences people make when they assess the content of their memories, (2) the role that contextual information plays in the retrieval of episodic memories, and (3) the executive control people are able to exert over the encoding and retrieval of memory traces. Other interests (and possible future inquires) include how our memories may be biased by the inferences we make at the time of encoding.
