Research interests:
I am a graduate student in the cognitive division of the psychology department. I received my M.A. in cognitive psychology from the University of Illinois in 2012 and my B.A. in psychology from the University of Nebraska in 2010. My research utilizes memory & individual differences measures, eye tracking, event-related potentials, and other behavioral techniques to study a range of topics with an emphasis on human memory and vision. For example, I have examined how different intervening tasks (e.g., semantic retrieval) influence memory for prior and future material, metacognitive awareness of criterion placement, and expert visual search.
