The Jamaican classroom typically has a lot more children than
U.S. classrooms.  Most of us were suprised at how well behaved
most of the children were.

We tried not to disturb the daily routine too much, but we were
definitely an unusual presense.  Here, a few boys are enjoying the
attention.

As you can see, both boys and girls in Jamaica are required to wear
uniforms.  Interestingly, the color of the girls' uniforms vary from school
to school, but the boys almost always wear khakki.  The giant is Beth
Milburn, a graduate student in clinical psychology.

Jamaican children love to get their picture taken.  See what happens when
you take out a camera.  The big kid on the left is Martin Hill, a counseling
psychology graduate student.

In Jamaica, it is the children's responsibility to keep their
school grounds clean.  Unfortunately, I think we interfered
a little with the sweeping process.
