Sara Glass

I'm interested in people that choose to be childfree; how they come to that decision, the impacts of that decision, and how they navigate their social relationships. I'm also interested in exploring the topic of mortality salience, specifically the emotions that arise in response to thoughts of one’s own death, and how religion impacts how people view death and their feelings about their own death.

Kristina is a master’s student in social/personality psychology. She is currently studying parasocial relationships and mortality salience. She is also interested in close relationships, human-nonhuman animal interaction, morality, and self-other knowledge asymmetry.

Margaret Palmiero

Maggie is a graduate student in the MSPS program at UIUC. Her current research projects include a series of studies on bias in self-reports of attachment to former romantic partners, and a confirmatory study of the relationship between attachment security, fear of personal death, and death anxiety.

Elizabeth Lozano

Liz's work focuses on attachment in donor conceived people (i.e., adults born through assisted reproductive technology). Another line of research involves relationship maintenance in couples who have utilized donor conception, with special interest devoted to the role of donor curiosity. She is an assistant professor of psychology and sociology at the California Northstate University.

Jaci studies romantic relationships from the unhealthy to the healthy range by examining both how violence impacts relationships as well as how individuals maintain healthy romantic relationships. Her focus is on how attachment and communicative patterns influence romantic relationships. Website
