Whether you are a parent looking for interesting studies about families, a prospective student looking for new and exciting research experience, or a fellow researcher wanting to learn more about our newest findings, we hope you will enjoy this website. We are happy to introduce you to our Family Development Project, which is a study of early family interactions conducted through the Psychology Department at the University of Illinois. We are interested in factors that influence family relations and children's social and emotional development throughout infancy and early childhood. This study consists of five exciting phases: pre-birth, 3.5 months, 12 months, 3 years, and 4.5 years.
